Donations
Donations build the size of the Trust
generating a larger annual grant pool
The Power of a Donation
The way ACCET works is quite simple. Donations are made to ACCET. This money is sensibly invested. Each year the investment returns are used to provide the grants and cover operating expenses.
A donation to ACCET is a gift that keeps on giving. Only the investment returns are used to provide the grants each year. ACCET doesn’t have to pay any tax on the investment returns, as ACCET has been given charitable status by the Australian Taxation Office.
Regular Donations
What if 1000 Christians donated just $10 per month? That equates to just $2.31 per week!
ACCET would then grow by $10,000 per month or $120,000 per year! Remember this is money that stays in the ACCET capital pool, earning interest year after year!
One Time Donations
Most of the ACCET capital that is currently held has been built up by generous people providing substantial one time donations.
Why not consider this too?
Paul says about giving in 2 Corinthians 9:12 “This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.”
Changing Your Will…
Want to give a gift that keeps on giving way beyond your life time? Then consider changing your will. Many Christians already have done this. They have told ACCET that they have left a percentage of their estate to be added to the ACCET capital pool!
Change your will by including the Australian church of Christ Evangelistic Trust
ABN 18 064 594 371 as a beneficiary. [the ABN must be quoted in your will as this how the executor of the estate locates ACCET]
